I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency on your election as the Prime Minister of Iraq.

I hope that in your term of office, the long-standing, amicable bonds of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq further strengthen and we witness development and deepening of relations in all economic, cultural and political fields to serve the interests of the to peoples.

I wish Your Excellency health and success and the brotherly people of Iraq felicity and prosperity.
